Support for Data-Driven Quality Improvement in the OB-GYN Outpatient Department (OPD)

RAAHI Trust collaborated with Maharaja Suhail Dev Autonomous State Medical College (ASMC), Bahraich, to strengthen quality of care in the Obstetrics & Gynecology outpatient department, which serves over 100 patients daily. The initiative focused on improving data systems, patient follow-up, and decision-making.

Key interventions included

• Digitization of Follow-Up Registers
  Assisted the OB-GYN department in transitioning from paper-based records to a digital follow-up register using spreadsheet-based tools. The digital format allowed for:
  • Easier tracking of high-risk pregnancies.
  • Improved documentation of repeat visits and treatment plans.
  • Enhanced visibility of ANC dropouts for targeted follow-up.
